In accordance with our telephone conversation this morning, we hereby
grant permission to your organization to transport three (3) tanks,
each weighing approximately 50 tons, on certain public streets in our
City, subject to the following conditions:
(a) A proper police escort must be provided during the
transfer of the tanks from the railroad yards on
North Ninth Street to your armory.
(b) The route shall be from the railroad yards south
along Ninth Street to Ash Street; thence west along
Ash Street to Broadway Boulevard; thence south along
Broadway Boulevard to Armory Road; and thence east
along Armory Road to your storage area.
(c) Extreme care must be exercised by the tank drivers
in order to prevent any damage to the street surfacing
during turning and maneuvering operations.
Please contact us if you need additional assistance from our office.
Sincerely,
