In order to minimize the potential hazard to vehicular and pedestrian
traffic on Northwood Lane due to its curvature, we have directed Kansas
Power & Light Company to install a street light in your immediate vicinity.
Kansas Power & Light Co. has requested that we obtain an easement from you
and your neighbor, Mr. Foland, to allow a buried electrical cable to be
installed along your common property line to serve this new street light.
We are enclosing two (2) easement forms for your review. This easement
dedication would allow the installation and maintenance of a buried electrical
cable to serve the proposed street light only. If you have no objections
to the granting of this easement, please return a signed and notarized copy
of the easement form to our office.
If you have any questions concerning this granting of this easement,
please call me.

EASEMENT
This Indenture, made this day of December, 1979, by and between
WILLIAM W. FLEISCHER and KAREN A. FLEISCHER, Parties of the First Part and THE
CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, a municipal corporation, Parties of the Second Part,
WITNESSETH:
That the said Parties of the First Part for a good and valuable consid-
eration receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these
presents, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said Parties of the Second Part
an easement in, over and across a certain tract of land owned by the Parties
of the First Part more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land located in Lot Twenty-two (22), Block Nineteen (19),
Georgetown Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas,
being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point that is the northeast corner of said Lot
Twenty-two (22); thence southeasterly along the east line of said
Lot Twenty-two (22) a distance of one hundred fifteen feet (115.00')
to the southeast corner of said Lot Twenty-two (22); thence south-
westerly along the south line of said Lot Twenty-two (22) a distance
of six and forty-two hundredths feet (6.42'); thence northwesterly
a distance of one hundred fifteen feet (115.00') to a point on the
north line of said Lot Twenty-two (22) that is five feet (5.00')
southwest of the northeast corner of said Lot Twenty-two (22);
thence northeasterly along the north line of said Lot Twenty-two
(22) a distance of five feet (5.00') to the point of beginning.
for all of the rights of ingress and egress of the said Parties of the Second
Part, its servants, officers, employees and contractors for the purpose of the
construction, installation, repairing, replacing and maintaining an underground
electric cable to serve a street light on Northwood Lane, in perpetuity.

their hands, the day and year first above written.
