In response to your letter, dated April 15, 1981, regarding
the flood plain designation of a certain tract of land within the
City of Salina, we offer the following information.
(a) Our zoning ordinance has a provision that
establishes a flood plain zoning district.
(b) Lot 160 on Santa Fe Avenue, Original Town -
site, City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas
is not designated as being included in the
above flood plain zoning district.
(c) The above lot is located in the Central
Business District zone (C-4) and is pro-
tected from flooding by our Flood Control
Dike System.
If you have any further questions concerning this matter, please
