The competition is between Mid. -West Tire Disposal of Rose Hill, Kansas
and `Respurce Management Company,Inc. of Bazine, Kansas. ;Both
companies have good merit... r;
Mid -West Tire Disposal- would be hauling the tires to Humbolt, Kansas+to
be used as fuel in the Monarch Cement Kilms.
Resource Management Company, •`Inc. would be hauling the tires Ness x
,to
County to be chopped then monoPilled.
The third option is with Rubber Products, LTD. who claims theywill ;
recycle. However, to date this -:company is reportedly still stock
"there
and is some concern.
'
The Mid -West Tire Disposal's plan; is attractive since the tires are
recycled'. The disadvantage is -this is also the highest cost to the
landfill.
Resource. Management Company,,Jnc's plan is attractive because' of the..
