COMMISSION ACTION MOTION BY SECOND BY TO: (Published in The Salina Journal · 1985) ORDINANCE NUMBER 85-9066 Al'; CRDINANCE PROVIDII4G THE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATICN OF A TRAFFIC INFRACTION OR ANY GTIIER TRAFFIC OFFENSE SPECIFIED IN TI!E STANDARD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE, EHACTING SECTION 38-1.1 OF THE SALINA CODE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:; Section !. Thai the Saiina Code is hereby amended by adding a section to be numbered Section 38-1.1, which section shall read as follows: "Section 38-1.1 Penalties for scheduled fines. The fine for violation of an ordinance traffic infraction or any other traffic offense for which the Municipal Judge establishes a fine in a fine schedule shall not be less than $10.00 nor more than $100.00. A person I:ried and convicted of an ordinance traffic infraction or other traffic offense for which a fine has been established in a schedule of fines si:all pay a fine fixed by the Court not to exceed $500.00."
