Resolution Number 86-3863, authorizing the City Manager to execute an
agreement by and between the City of Salina and the Saline County Board of
Commissioners to provide computer systems management for Saline County.
This agreement provides for system management services. The County will
own and pay all of the costs associated with their computer which will be
in the City's computer room.
In addition, the County will pay the City for programming costs when the
City does programming for the County.

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered this day of
, 1986, by and between the CITY'OF'"'SALINA,
KANSAS, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as
the "City," and SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS,
hereinafter referred to as the "County," WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the County is the owner of an IBM System 36,
hereinafter referred to as "System 36"; and
WHEREAS, the County desires to obtain from the City and
the City desires to provide for the County the space
necessary to locate the System 36 and to perform systems
management for the County.
NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed by and between the
City and the County as follows:
(1). Location of System 36. The City hereby consents
to the location of the System 36 in the City's data pro-
cessing department.
(2). .Systems Management. The City agrees to provide
systems management for the County for a monthly fee of Two
Thousand Dollars ($2,000), payable on the day of each
month during the term of this agreement.
(3). Term of Agreement. This agreement shall be for a
primary term of twelve (12) months commencing on the
day of , 1986. After the primary term of this
lease, it shall continue on a year-to-year basis, subject to
the rights of either party to modify or terminate the
agreement as hereinafter provided.
(4). Fee Adjustments. Should circumstances require
that the City modify its systems management fee, it may do
so by providing the County with sixty (60) days written
notice of the proposed modification. The fee modificatiOn
shall become effective unless the County shall advise the
City in writing within thirty (30) days of its receipt of
the fee modification notice that it instead wishes to
terminate this agreement.
(5). Termination. After the primary term of this
agreement, either party may terminate the agreement by
giving the other party sixty (60) days written notice of its
intention to do so.
(6). Prior Agreement. This agreement supersedes and
replaces the agreement between the parties hereto dated
February 6, 1981, which agreement is hereby cancelled by the
mutual consent of the parties.
IN WITNESS W~EREOF, the respective parties have
hereunto caused this instrument to be executed on its behalf
by its duly authorized officers, all on the day and year
first above written.
