Bids were received on January 9, 1986, at lO:O0 A.M. for the renovation work at the new
Smoky Hill Museum at 211 West Iron Avenue. The bids received are tabulated below:

All the bids were reviewed by our office and were found to be valid. It is, therefore,
our recommendation that the contract for this renovation project (Project No. 85-737)
be awarded to the Bob Albers Construction, Inc. of Salina who submitted the low bid of
$43,890.00 (Base Bid + Alt. No. 1 + Alt. No. 2). The architects estimate for this
project was $62,500.00.
Construction work on this project must be completed on or before April 30, 1986. Fund-
ing for this project was included in the 1986 budget (Capital Improvements - Sales Tax).
