On December 17, 1985, the Salina City Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the above-referenced rezoning application. Upon conclusion of the public hearing, a motion was unanimously (4-0-1) approved to recommend that this application be appreved with the exception of Lots 24 and 26, Block 2, Bonds Addition and based upon the following findings-of-fact: 1. The change in classification would be consistent with the intent and purpose of the zoning ordinance; 2. The uses would remain residential and there would no problem with permitted uses;. 3. There is adequate sewer and water facilities; 4. The change will not correct an urror; 5. The proposed amendment represents the desire by the citizens of the neighbor- hood to retain a single-family area. If you concur with this recommendation the attached ordinance 'should be placed on first reading today. The protest period expired on December 31, 1985, and second reading would be on January 13, 1985. The Saline County Treasurer certifies there are no delinquent general taxes or special assessments on this property. Enc.
