On November 3, 1987, Petition Number 3945 was filed by Keith Thaemert for
the vacation of five feet of street right-of-way on each side of University
Place from College Street to 12th Street.
Notice of the public hearing was published in the Salina Journal on December 7
and 14, 1987.
At the conclusion of the public hearing, you may wish to introduce Ordinance
Number 87-9227 for first reading. The ordinance will then be on the December
28th agenda for second reading.

ORDINANCE NUMBER 87-9227
AN ORDI~IANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF FIVE (5) FEET
OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ON EACH SIDE OF UNIVERSITY PLACE FROM
COLLEGE STREET TO TWELFTH STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That a five (5) feet of street right-of-way on each sides of
University Place from College Street to Twelfth Street, adjacent to Lots One (1)
through Thirty-two (32), University Place, University Addition to the City of
Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the above described street right-of-way, which is
vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in
accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
