scheduled for Saturday, October 10 at 9:00 a.m., 111 East Pacific Avenue. No
City business will be discussed.
Some City Commissioners may attend SRHC-sponsored special press
conference announcing Tammy Walker Ca ncer Center’s affiliation with the
Midwest Cancer Alliance Monday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. the cancer center on
Santa Fe. No City business will be discussed.
City Commissioners are invited to the Salina Regional Health Foundation
groundbreaking ceremony for the Donna L. Vanier Children’s Center scheduled
for Tuesday, October 13, 10:00 a.m. at 155 North Oakdale Avenue. No City
business will be discussed.
City Commissioners are invited by K-State at Salina’s Applied Aviation Research
Center for their grand opening of their Unmanned Aircraft Systems Laboratory.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21 in front of the UAS
Laboratory building of the campus. A li ght reception will follow. No City
business will be discussed.
The Salina Chamber and Westar Energy are sponsoring an Energy-Saving
Symposium Friday, October 23 at BWR, 2335 East Crawford Street. City
Commissioners are invited for this event which begins at 8:30 a.m. No City
business will be discussed.
The League of Kansas Municipalities is hosting a Regional Supper in Salina,
Wednesday, October 28 at 6:00 p.m. This event will be held at the Chambers
Development Center, 120 West Ash. No City business will be discussed.
City Commissioners will participate in the League of Women Voter’s sponsored
Lunch and Learn scheduled for Tuesday, November 10 at noon. This event will
be held at the Salina Public Library, Prescott Room.
