Second Readin9 Ordinance Number 87-9223, authorizin9 and directing the
issuance, sale and delivery of SS,000,000 principal amount of General
Obligation Internal Improvement Bonds, Series P-233, of the City of Salina,
Kansas, for the purpose of providing funds to pay the cost of the acquisition
and improvement of property for 290 off-street parking spaces, the acquisition
of property and construction of arcades and crosswalks, the improvement of
streets and other facilities by landscaping and weather shelters and the
relocation and burial of utilities in the Central Business District in said City;
prescribing the form and details of said bonds; providing for the levy and
collection of the necessary assessments and taxes for the purpose of paying
the principal of and interest on said bonds as they become due; and
authorizing an agreement between the City and the Bond Registrar.
This ordinance was introduced for first reading on November 9, 1987.
