Bids were received on December 15, 1988, at 10:00 a.m.' for Site Improvements - Sunset
Park (Project No. 88-775). The bids received are tabulated below:
(a) Wilson Constructors, Inc. $14,739.00
(b) Frank Construction Co., Inc. $24,840.00
(c) Hamme rs chmi dt Poo 1 s $84,350. O0
This project involves the restoration of the three (3) pools in Sunset Park. The
scope of work, however, does not include sidewalks or connecting flumes. All bids
received were reviewed by our office and found to be valid. The engineer's estimate
for this project was $35,000.00.
It is our recommendation, therefore, that the City Commission award the contract, for
Project No. 88-775 to Wilson Constructors, Inc., Salina, Kansas, who submitted the
low bid of $14,739.00.
