Bids were received on August 16, 1988. at 10:00 AM for the construction of
1,315 linear feet of 5' wide sidewalks for South and Phillips Neighborhood
Parks. The bids received are tabulated below:

The Community Services Department staff has reviewed the bids and all were
found to be valid. The Salina Recreation Commission, after reviewing the
bids at their August 16, 1988 meeting, recommends the City Commission award
the contract to Don Vancil Construction for $11,835 ($1.80/sq.ft.).
This project is to be funded out of 1988 Sales Tax Capital Budget Park
Improvements.
