Bids were received on March 10, 1988 for the sale of park property between
University Place and Walnut Street on the east side of Broadway.
Two bids were received:
1. J.H. Wiesendanger, 119 North 2nd $500.00
Money order for 10% enclosed.
2. Wallace Storey and Associates, $15,000.00
contingent on the approval of the landowners of
the adjacent property
No cashier's check equal to 10% of the bid included.
Staff recommends both bids be rejected with bid #1 from J. H. Wiesendanger being
unacceptably Iow and bid #2 from Wally Storey and Associates being unacceptably
Iow and not meeting the requirements of a cashier's check included.
Bids were analysed on the basis of our requirements for bidder compliance and
the appraised value of the property.
