Bids were received Thursday, December 7, 1989, for one riding
greens mower for the Municipal Golf Course. Three bids were
received as shown on the enclosed sheet.
Staff has reviewed the bids and recommends the City Commission
approve the purchase of the Toro Mower supplied by Champion Turf.
The Golf Course presently has three greens mowers, all Toro models,
one of which will be used for parts. Also the Course has
approximately $8000 worth of attachments such as slicing reels,
spiking heads (aerator), sand heads, which are interchangeable with
t~e Toro mowers, including the new model. In addition, parts
inventory would not have to expand and accomn%odate another make of
mower..
RECOMMENDATION.:
Purchase the Toro mower for $10,939.
