Resolution' Number 89-4129. authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Salina, Kansas, to execute special warranty deeds conveying to K & C, Inc., a
Kansas Corporation; Gary D. Ray, d/b/a Rakin Land & Cattle-Company;
Marketaide, a partnership; Kennedy. Berkley, Yarnevich F. Williamson. Chartered,
a Kansas professional partnership, certain real estate and facility pursuant to a
lease dated October 1, 1978.

In October of 1978 the City .issued Industrial Revenue Bonds for the purpose of
acquisition and renovation of the United" Building. Repayment of those bonds has
now been completed and the lessees have given notice of their election to exercise
their option to purchase the facility from the City pursuant to the terms of their
lease with the City. This resolution authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute 'deeds to the lessees and authorizes the City Attorney to deliver .those
deeds upon certification by the City's fiscal agent, Bank IV Salina, N.A. that the
bonds have been paid in full.
Recommended action
Adopt .Resolution Number 89-4129.
