Box 6163 * ~lina, Kansas 67401-0163 * Phone (913) 827-0331 ,~To~ August 26, 1989 City Commission City of Salina, Kansas Gentlemen: Ryder Truck Rental, Inc., a Florida Corporation, who is purchaser under contract of a portion of Industrially Zoned land in West- port Exchange, has asked me to request certain changes in the re- corded plat of that addition, as surveyed and engineered by Bucher- Willis-Ratliff, Engineers, of Salina, copies of which are attached. Basically, the changes are necessary for the purposes of enlarging their existing facility located at 546 Westport Boulevard. In order to accomplish this, they are purchasing land from two separate owners, as shown by the attached plats, and in order to effect a rectangular tract on the same side of the street, are requesting that the pre- sent bend platted in Westport Boulevard North of St. Louis Street be vacated, and a new dedication of land be made to straighten West- port Boulevard as shown on the attached plats. This request has been approved by the buyer, Ryder Truck Rental, Inc., and both sellers, for whom I am the broker, Dr. L. F. Eaton (Tract B}, and Doonan Truck and Equipment Co., Inc., Great Bend, Kansas.(Tract A).
