Set the date of July 13, 1989 to receive bids for the sale of one (1) 1974 Ford
Van with a 28 foot aerial man lift.
This piece of equipment was replaced by new equipment for which bids were
received on March 16, 1989o
Recommended action
Instruct the City Clerk to advertise for bids to be received July 13, 1989 for
the sale of this equipment.

NOTICE TO TRUCK BUYERS
SEALED BIDS addressed to the City of Salina, Kansas and endorsed
"Bid on Aerial Truck", will be received in Suite 206 of the City-County Building
by Jacqueline Shiever, City Clerk of the City of Salina, Kansas, up to 10:00 a.m.
Central Daylight Time on Thursday, July 13, 1989, at which time the bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud in Room 200. Bids received later than this
hour and date will be returned unopened.
Listed for sale, One (1) 1974 Ford E300 Cargo Van equipped
with a Stel-lift model V27-SS5, The van is powered by a
302 cubic inch engine and has power steering and an
automatic transmission,
Inspection of the vehicle may be made at the City yards,
412 East Ash Street, Salina, Kansas.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all
bids with or without cause and to waive any irregularities therein.
