Resolution Number 90-4256, determining that certain real estate is no longer
needed by the City of Salina for park purposes and that a sale thereof would
be in the best interest of the City.
If the tract of land in the 1300 block of South Broadway is to be sold, this
resolution must be adopted.
If within thirty (30) days from the date of the last publication of this
resolution there has not been filed with the City Clerk a protest signed by the
qualified electors of the City of Salina equal in number to not less than ten
percent (10%) of the electors who voted in the last preceding regular city
election as shown by the poll books, then the City of Salina may proceed to
sell the property.
Publication of this resolution can be scheduled for December 14 and 21, 1990.
The thirty day protest period would end January 20, 1991.
Recommended action
Adopt Resolution Number 90-4256.
