4.1 National Home Care WeekWHEREAS, the old, the young, the ill, the frail and disabled should have
a choice as to the kind of care they should receive at home,
WHEREAS, there is a full range of professional and caring services in
Salina that provide health and supportive care in the home,
WHEREAS, these services allow persons to receive that care in the familiar
comfort of the home,
WHEREAS, home care plays an increasingly important role in health and
supportive care in Salina.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Salina Commissioners and Robert E.
Frank, Mayor of the City of Salina do hereby proclaim the week of November
25th through December 1st, 1990 as
NATIONAL HOME CARE WEEK
This request is made by Salina-Saline County Home Health Agency and we urge
all citizens, news media, and community organizations to join in this salute
to the home care industry by encouraging and supporting the celebration of
the efforts of all professional and paraprofessionals as they contribute
daily to promote health and independence.
