Amending the 2000 and 2001 plan years in the City's Capital Improvement Program (C.I.P.) and
adopting the amended 2000-2004 Plan.
BACKGROUND:
The 2000-2004 C.I.P. was adopted in Spring 2000. Under the City's Financial Policies, the current year
and next budget year C.I.P. are reviewed with the annual budget process. At budget study sessions in
July, the Commission reviewed the plans for 2000 and 2001, and tentatively approved some updates.
Those changes are now incorporated in this budget-related resolution for formal adoption to reflect the
Commission's direction.
The 2000 C.I.P. - (a) contains updated cost estimates; (b) defers one neighborhood park project to 2001;
(c) includes shifting of $80,000 from the Contingency line item to a project line for completion of right-of-
way acquisition for the Waterwell Road Interchange.
The 2001 C.I.P. - (a) contains updated cost estimates; (b) adds the neighborhood park project deferred
from 2000; (c) adds the Municipal Court Expansion Project.
ACTION:
Consider Resolution No. 00-5636 adopting the amended 2000-2004 Capital Improvement Program.
