Resolution Number 90-4185, determining the advisability of the acquisition of an
existing privately owned stormwater cletention facility to serve certain lots in
Mariposa Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas; estimating the
cost thereof, defining the boundaries of the improvement district, method of
assessment, and apportioning the cost between the improvement district and the
city-at-large.
Background
Petition Number 3988 was filed by James T. Craves for city acquisition 'of a
stormwater detention facility in Mariposa Addition.
The City .Engineer reported on the validity of the petition and filed a feasibility
report on April 16, 1990 for these improvements.
This resolution is the next step in the improvement process, then a resolution will
be on the May 7, 1990 agenda, authorizing and ordering the improvements.
Recommended action
Adopt Resolution 90-4.185.
