Reset the bid date for the Ninth and Cloud Street Intersection Improvements,
Project No. 91-841.
Background
On August 19, 1991, the City Commission approved the project and set September 17,
1991 as the date to receive bids. During that week, it was found that some minor
design changes were necessary in regard to the Cloud Street pavement
modifications. The changes involved both plan and specification revisions and
required more time than was allowed by the original bid date. Therefore, the
September 17 bid date was cancelled by newspaper publication.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Commission reset the bid date for the project to
Tuesday, October 8, 1991.
