Whereas The Central Kansas Mental Health Center has been
~ providing excellent service to residents of the City ~
~' of Salina since 1964 ~' ,
Whereas Community support is integral to the re-integration of

Whereas The community of Salina, its people and its resources,
~ is a true oasis for those meeting and responding to fiM
~. Whereas challenge of mental illness on a daily basis , ~' '.
The month of May is being celebrated nationwide as
Mental Health Month
NOW,THEREFORE,I Kristin Seaton, Mayor of the City of Salina, hereby
recognize the week of May 6-12, 2002 as MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
WEEK and call upon citizens to pay appropriate tribute to mental health
providers in our community.
