Change Order No. 1 for the Wallerius Addition No. 2 Utility Improvements,
Project No. 92-852
Background
This change order involves approximately 265 linear feet of additional sanitary
sewer pipeline and related appurtenance to serve the southern extremities of the
Southwestern Mobile Home Planned Development District. The property owner and
petitioner of the improvements requested the additional work after the original
contract award. This area is located at the southeastern corner of Hageman and
Saturn Avenues.
The original contract amount for the project is $28,233. The change order
involves an increase of $3,245 or 11.5% of the original contract. All costs are
paid by the property owner through the special assessment method.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Commission approve Change Order No. 1 for the
Wallerius Addition No. 2 Utility Improvements, Project No. 92-852, in the amount
of $3,245.

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 1st day of June ,
19 92 , by and between the CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, Owner, and the above named
Contractor, modifies the existing contract dated March 16~ 1992 under the
above subject, project and project number in the following particulars to wit:
1. The specifications and drawings for certain street improvements in the City of
Salina, Kansas, dated February - 1992 , are hereby amended in the
following particulars only; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

satisfactory manner in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and contract
documents, for the following prices:
