Item: Resolution 00-5609, amending Section 5 of resolution number 00-5594, the
resolution finding as to the advisability and a resolution authorizing construction pursuant
to K.S.A. 12-6a01 et.seq, of an improvement consisting of certain curbing, guttering,
paving, grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and water main improvements in the Twin
Oaks III subdivision
Background:
The petition submitted to initiate this project provided for a front footage method of
assessment for street and drainage improvements and an equal assessment per
equivalent residential lot for water and sanitary sewer improvements.
The original resolution of advisability provided for assessments based on front footage
only. Resolution 00-5609 corrects the method of assessment to be consistent with that
provided for in the petition.
