RESOLUTION NUMBER 83-3684
A RESOLUTION expressing gratitude and appreciation to OREN ALONZO
GLEASON for serving as an employee of the City of Salina from September 22, 1958
to December 31, 1983.
WHEREAS, during the period from September 22, 1958 to December 31, 1983
OREN ALONZO GLEASON served as Laborer for the Salina Park and General Improvement
Departments, Lube Man for Central Garage and Maintenance Worker for the Cemetery
Department; and
WHEREAS, OREN ALONZO GLEASON has demonstrated invaluable and dedicated
service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to OREN ALONZO GLEASON for his dedicated and faithful service as Maintenance
Worker in the Cemetery Department be and the same is hereby entered upon the
official records of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2: That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to OREN ALONZO GLEASON.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
19th day of December, 1983.
