RESOLUTION NUMBER 87-3937
A RESOLUTION .AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION AND MARKING OF
THE NORTH' SIDE OF MAPLE AVENUE, WILLIS AVENUE AND SMITH AVENUE
FROM ' HAGEMAN AVENUE TO HASKETT AVENUE AS A NO PARKING ZONE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That in accordance with the provisions of Article 20,
Chapter - 8 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, the installation of "No Parking"
signs on the north side of Maple Avenue from Hageman Avenue to Haskett
Avenue is hereby approved.
Section 2. That in accordance with the provisions of Article 20,
Chapter 8 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, the installation of "No Parking"
signs on the north side of Willis Avenue from Hageman Avenue to Haskett
Avenue is hereby approved.
Section 3. That in accordance with the provisions of Article 20,
Chapter 8 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, the installation of "No Parking"
signs on the north side of Smith Avenue from Hageman Avenue to Haskett
Avenue is hereby approved.
Section 4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
implement the traffic control changes by causing the necessary signs to be
installed in accordance therewith.
Section 5. That the provisions of this resolution shall be in effect
upon adoption of this resolution and upon the installation of the appropriate
signs or markings giving notice thereof.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
16th day :of November, 1987.
