87-3908 Quit Claim Deed Original TownL 1 RESOLUTION NUMBER 87-3908 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED RELINQUISHING TITLE TO REAL ESTATE. WHEREAS, the following described real estate was conveyed to the City �of Salina on August 28, 1956: The North Ten Feet (N 101) of Lot Thirty-seven (37) and the South Five Feet (S 5') of Lot Thirty-five (35) on Seventh Street, Original Town of Salina, Saline County, Kansas; land, WHEREAS, the real estate described above was conveyed to the City of Salina in consideration of the vacation of the alley abutting upon Lots Twenty-nine (29) , Thirty-one (31) , Thirty-three (33) and the North Forty-five Feet (N 451) of Lot Thirty-five (35), Seventh Street, Original Town of Salina, Saline County, Kansas; and, WHEREAS, the alley described above was.. not vacated and therefore the City of Salina wishes to relinquish title to the real estate to the successor in ownership of the adjacent parcel from which the original conveyance to the City was severed; SO NOW, THEREFORE Kansas: BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing . Body of the City of Salina, Section 1. That the Mayor of the City of Salina is hereby authorized and directed to execute a quit claim deed conveying to Security Savings and Loan Association, Salina, Kansas, the following described real estate: The North Ten Feet (N 10') of Lot Thirty-seven (37) and the South Five Feet (S 5') of Lot Thirty-five (35) on Seventh Street, Original Town of' Salina, Saline County, Kansas; Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Board of Commissioners and. signed by the Mayor.
