RESOLUTION NUMBER 89-4116
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY,
PERMANENT EASEMENT AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT
NECESSARY FOR THE NINTH STREET AND CRAWFORD AVENUE INTERSECTION
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Commission approved as a part of the 1989 Capital
Improvement Budget the Ninth Street and Crawford Avenue intersection
improvement project (the "project'); and
WHEREAS, in completing the plans and engineering drawings for the
project, the City's engineering department has identified the additional
right-of-way, permanent easement and temporary construction easement that must
be acquired from adjacent private property owners in order to construct the
project as designed; SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1.
Authorization.
The City Manager and his authorized
designees and agents are hereby authorized to (a) negotiate, (b) contract for,
and (c) accept on behalf of the City of Salina, the additional right-of-way,
permanent easement and temporary construction easement necessary to construct
the Ninth Street and Crawford Avenue intersection project as designed.
Section 2. Effective date. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
21st day of August, 1989.
