RESOLUTION NUMBER 89-4115
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ZONING
APPEALS, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION, CONVENTION AND TOURISM
COMMITTEE, DISCIPLINARY ADVISORY BOARD, HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SALINA, HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION, PARKS AND RECREATION
ADVISORY BOARD, SALINA ARTS AND HUMANITIES COMMISSION, SALINA
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #1 DESIGN REVIEW BOARD.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has established through Resolution
Number 88-4016 a policy regarding appointments and administration of the citizen
boards system; and
WHEREAS, Section 2(c) of Resolution Number 88-4016 calls for
appointments to be made by Resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City
Commission for final approval; and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on certain citizens boards,
commissions and committees; SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the. City of Salina,
Section 1. The following- persons, as proposed by the Mayor of the
City of Salina, are hereby appointed to the designated citizen boards for the
term indicated:
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Fred Gaines, reappointed for a 3 year term to August 31, 1992.
Marcia L. Penrod, appointed to succeed Raymond Snyder, for a 3 year
term to August 31, 1992.
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
Bob Haworth, reappointed for a 3 year term to August 31, 1992.
Ray Kline, Outside City Representative, reappointed for a 3 year term
to August 31, 1992.
Gerald Eck, appointed to succeed Frank Roth for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1992.
CONVENTION AND TOURISM COMMITTEE
Kevin Williams, reappointed for a 4 year term to August 31, 1993.
Sandra Somers, appointed to succeed Carroll Cyr for a 4 year term to
August 31, 1993.
DISCIPLINARY ADVISORY BOARD
Judy Weaver, appointed to succeed Erick Erickson for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1992.
Byron Norris, appointed to succeed Solomon Oliver for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1992.
Dean A. Bahr, appointed to succeed Harold Cooley for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1992.

Randal J. Graham, reappointed for a 3 year term to August 31, 1992.
Betsy Poer, appointed to succeed Mary Nell Beatty for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1992.
Paula J. Wright, appointed to succeed Harry Hughes for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1992.

Ned Rose, Business Representative in the BID, reappointed for a 3 year
term to August 31, 1992
Donnie D. Marrs, Design Professional, appointed to succeed Ken Bieberly
for a 3 year term to August 31, 1992.
Larry W. Pankratz, appointed to succeed Ann Knowles for a 3 year term. to
August 31, 1992.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
21st day of August, 1989.
