RESOLUTION NUMBER 89-4092
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
BOBBY M. KNIGHT FOR SERVING AS MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR FOR THE
RECREATION COMMISSION FROM JUNE 1, 1974 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1988 AND
FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FROM OCTOBER 1, 1988 TO
JUNE 30, 1989.
WHEREAS, during the period from June 1, 1974 to September 30, 1988
BOBBY M. KNIGHT served as Maintenance Supervisor for the Recreation
Commission and has served as Maintenance Supervisor for the Parks and
Recreation Department from October 1, 1988 to June 30, 1989, and
WHEREAS, BOBBY M. KNIGHT has demonstrated invaluable and
dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1 . That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation to
BOBBY M. KNIGHT for his dedicated and faithful service as Maintenance
Supervisor for the Recreation Commission and the Parks and Recreation
Department be and the same is hereby entered upon the official records of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to BOBBY M. KNIGHT.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
26th day of June, 1989.
