Ordinance Number 93-9562 designating Ash Street, Belmont Boulevard, Bishop
Street, Broadway Boulevard, Centennial Road, Cloud Street, College Avenue,
Country Club Road, Crawford Avenue, Iron Avenue, Magnolia Avenue, Markley
Road, Marymount Road, Ninth Street, North Street, Ohio Street, Pacific
Avenue, Republic Street, Santa Fe Avenue, Schilling Road, South Street, State
Street, and as main trafficways pursuant to K.S.A. 12-685.
The 1993-1997 Capital Improvement Plan calls for improvements to certain
streets within the City of Salina. Ordinance Number 93-9562 designates these
streets as main trafficways and thus puts into place the statutory authority
required to issue General Obligation bonds.
The Ordinance also designates other streets, as main trafficways which are not
included in the 1993-1997 CIP. They are included to provide a complete listing
of our' main trafficways.
Recommended Action
Introduce Ordinance Number 93-9562 for first reading.
