License Agreement with the Kejr Engineering, Inc. to allow placement
of communication cable in the public right-of-way.
Background
The attached license agreement has been developed at the request of
Kejr Engineering, Inc. The purpose of the agreement is to allow the
installation of a private communication cable under Barney Street east
of Broadway Boulevard. The cable will provide a network for
computers, telephones and intercoms located at different Kejr
Engineering, Inc. building facilities in the area.
This type of license agreement is required for any non-franchise
utility located in the public right-of-way. The agreement provides
a mechanism for utility record keeping which in turn provides some
degree of damage control for the system.
RECO~NDATION
It is recox~ended that the City Commission approve the license
agreement with Kejr Engineering, Inc.
