Bids were received on August 30, 1994 for three vehicles and 15 portable
radios. The recommended bid for each bid item is as follows:

The actual cost for the General fund includes the unscheduled replacement of a
Fire Department vehicle wrecked in an auto accident. This added $25,819.42 to
this budget. Insurance recovery of $8,000 went to a separate revenue account.

One othee bid item, the pickup teuek for Permits and Inspection, did not receive
any bids as specifications were not deliveeed to potential biddees. We have
deliveeed them and vescheduled the bid date foe Octobee 4, 1994.
Recommended Action

bidders.
